I’m Laura and I have two children; a four year old daughter called Ruby, and a one year old son called Finley. I started attending the Cadbury Heath group when Ruby was a month old. It was so great to be able to go to a local group for support when I had breastfeeding issues, plus drink a hot cup of tea and have a friendly chat! I completed my peer support training in December 2018 and ABM peer support training in April 2019. I would like to finish the ABM breastfeeding counselling course one day, I’ve currently put in on pause as my son isnt keen on sleep, and likes to wake up hourly at night so I’m too tiered to study!! I love helping people and I find breast milk fascinating so thought volunteering was the perfect role for me!

I'm Abbi and I have 3 boys who are aged 8, 4 and 1. I’ve breastfed each of them and have had a lot of help along the way! The assistance and encouragement I received at groups was essential for me to carry on breastfeeding and it was so nice to meet other mums in the same boat. I wanted to give something back and pass on any support and advice I can, which is why I took the peer support training this year. I’m looking forward to providing a friendly face and a listening ear to breastfeeding mums (and their supporters if they would like to come along as well!) Please come along and see us.

Hi, I'm Carly- Mummy to 2 cheeky little devils; Toby & Barny.
Breastfeeding and the support available to families is something I've always felt passionately about and having wanted to support Breastfeeding mums for a number of years but never quite managing to make it happen, finally the stars aligned and here I am- I look forward to welcoming you to the Cadbury Heath Breastfeeding Group. What Mums say....
"Thank you for your help with the breastfeeding when I had my baby! I was so close to giving up. I was planning to breastfeed only for the first three months at first but managed to carry on for 23 and decided to stop at 23 only because no 2 is on the way"
